Ceramics & Sculpture · Summer 2026

Each season, the Studio hands its pedestals to a guest maker whose work expands the conversation around material, memory, and form. This season we're honored to feature Camille Okafor, a ceramicist and sculptor whose hand-built vessels and cast-bronze forms hum with the same cultural current that runs through the rest of the house.

Okafor's practice moves between the intimate and the monumental — coil-built stoneware glazed in oxblood and indigo, and sculptural figures that hold negative space like breath. Working in dialogue with diaspora, inheritance, and the body, the work feels at once ancient and entirely now. A limited selection is available to collect here for the season; each piece is one of a kind.
